Bluebarn Theatre is holding auditions for Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol

Bluebarn Theatre is holding auditions for the imaginative holiday tale, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol. Audition date is set for Saturday, September 11 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Needed are 2 males, ages 40-60, and 1 male, ages 18-30. The role of “Jacob Marley” has been cast. Auditions will be held at the Downtown Space, 614 S. 11th St. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please call (402) 345-1576 for more information. Kevin Lawler directs. Chanticleer is holding auditions for To Kill a Mockingbird

Auditions will be held Sunday, September 12 and Monday, September 13 at 7:00 for To Kill a Mockingbird at Chanticleer Theatre. Production dates will be November 12-28. Roles for 20 cast members of all ages. Mark Manhart will direct the production. 399-1714 for more information.

Omaha Playhouse is holding auditions for Christmas Carol

The Omaha Playhouse will hold auditions for the annual musical A Christmas Carol. Carl Beck & Susan Baer Collins direct. September 18th (Sat) -- CHILDREN ONLY - beginning at 1 PM September 20th and 21st -- adults - beginning at 7 PM Use west Stage Door and sign in upon arrival.

Lofte Community Theatre is holding auditions for Unnecessary Farce

The Lofte Community Theatre will be holding auditions for its fall comedy, Unnecessary Farce, on Monday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 7 at 7pm. No advance preparation is necessary. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Artistic Director Kevin Colbert is looking for four men and three women of various ages. Performance dates are Oct 15-17, 22-24, 28-31. Holy Cross is holding auditions for The Dastardly Doctor Devereaux

Holy Cross will hold auditions for the musical melodrama, The Dastardly Doctor Devereaux, on Tues., Sept. 7 and Thurs., Sept. 9 at 7pm in St. Edward’s Hall at Holy Cross Church, 4803 William Street (enter on the north side of the building – lower level). Classic melodrama roles are available for 5 men (one with a New York accent) and 9 women, (one with a German accent, one with a New York accent). Those auditioning are asked to prepare a short musical selection. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your sheet music and conflicts from Sept. 14-Nov. 4. The show runs Nov. 5-7, 12-14.
