TAG Awards Scholarships to High School Seniors in Theatre

This Spring TAG will award $3500 in scholarship funds to Omaha-area high school students with plans to study theatre in college next year. We are very grateful to our seniors, who adapted to new processes based on safety needs due to COVID-19.

Our audition process was new this year, as our applicants submitted their packets via video and interviewed with Scholarship Committee member Tom Miller by phone. Special thanks to our jury of J. Isaiah Smith, Kim Clark-Kaczmarek and Brendan Greene-Walsh who evaluated candidates and then via Zoom to discuss outcomes.

Plans for our Scholarship Cabaret are on hold for now, as we determine the safest way to showcase the incredible talent of this year’s scholarship recipients. Look for an announcement of our scholarship winners soon, and thanks to everyone who auditioned this year!
