TAG Theatre Grant – Apply Today!
Did you know that the Theatre Arts Guild offers individual and theatre/organization grants? While we are currently accepting grant applications on a rolling basis, TAG will only accept applications through June 30, 2017. TAG will then switch to a bi-annual cycle, starting with an application due date of October 1, 2017 and March 1, 2018.
Grants for Individuals
TAG provides grants of up to $300 for TAG members seeking funding for theatre-related professional development opportunities. To be eligible for grant funds, an applicant must be 1) a TAG member in good standing; 2) applying for funds for a theatre-related professional activity (such as taking a class or attending a conference / workshop); and 3) willing to show a need for the funds.

If the application is received before the first of the month, it will be presented at that month’s Board meeting. Applications received after the first of the month will be considered at the following month’s meeting. An applicant may receive all the money requested, or a portion, depending on the size of the request and the money available to TAG. If a grant is awarded, the recipient will be asked to complete a short final report form.
Grants for Theatres and Organizations
In addition to providing individual grants, TAG awards grants of up to $300 to theatres seeking to purchase a special piece of equipment or undertake a unique audience development program.
Member organizations may receive funds only once per calendar year. An application is required, and theatres will be asked to complete a final report after their project is complete.
