Kimilee Bryant Workshop

MarieSpecial Events

The two classes included mock auditions and coaching, followed by a Q&A session with Kimilee. A total of 16 advanced vocalists performed songs for feedback as a part of the class, with at least two dozen observers in the audience. The majority of performers were UNO and Creighton students, with a few TAG members in the mix. TAG is excited to help support the growth of local university performers through collaborative programming such as this. We also strive to plan programs that are of interest to our members.

One of many pieces of advice that Kimilee imparted to attendees was to never let your facial expressions or body language show how you think you did in an audition. At the end of your performance, she suggested to think, “Nailed it!” no matter how you feel it went.
TAG would love to “Nail it!” with our next program. If you have any ideas for programs you would like to participate in as a TAG member, please share them with our Programs committee at programs@theatreartsguild.com.
