One of Nebraska’s “truly unique” festivals is moving to Falconwood Park for its 13th year. Power & Progress relocates from Columbus, Nebraska to Bellevue in 2025. The move comes after calling Camp Pawnee home for 12 years and its needs to move to a bigger facility due to the growth that the event has experienced in the past 3 years.

“Falconwood Park brings potential, not only due to its location bringing the festival much closer to the Omaha/Lincoln area, but because of its infrastructure. It has a built-in stage, indoor facilities, restrooms, full bar, plenty of other amenities and a great staff.” – Tom Last Name, Power & Progress Festival

“It was a no-brainer to welcome the festival to Falconwood. This is what we want the park to be used for. We will miss hosting Outlandia as well as Hippie Fest this summer – it made perfect sense to slide Power & Progress into that weekend. “ – Brandon Miller, Owner Falconwood Park

Power & Progress Festival aims to create an environment of peace and unity through music that will afford attendees an opportunity to learn and grow; through an eclectic mix of musical genres featuring local, regional, and national music acts, P&P is an event where some of your local friends that play in a band in your town can share a bill with some of your favorite musicians that tour the world.

“Power & Progress will have the legacy and essence of being started in a small Nebraska town by a band and some friends trying to do something fun for the music community.” – Tom Adelman, Power & Progress Festival

Power and Progress was started in 2012 by The Midland Band in conjunction with Craig Mustard of Temperature Zero Productions, all who grew up in Columbus.  In 2013 Brad Zywiec came on board as the official artist and vending coordinator. Since then the festival has steadily grown from a single day camping event to a three day festival, multiple stages, a plethora of vendors and artists, daily workshops, and more.

2023 marked significant growth for P&P, branching out from local and regional artists and acquiring national touring acts like TAUK and international touring artists such as Mr. Bill.

“Though it is bittersweet to move from Columbus and a park we love, we couldn’t have asked for a better home like Falconwood Park to transition into.” Tom Adelman “Our most sincere thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, the city of Columbus, and we hope to see you Aug. 7-10th in Bellevue!”

Organizers remain open to potentially holding events at Camp Pawnee in the future.

2025 Power & Progress Festival Lineup Announcement is slated for Friday, March 15th.
